Kevin Canfield is running for Westchester Trustee because he believes in creating a more accountable and responsible government that works for all residents. With over 12 years of experience living in our Village, Kevin is deeply committed to the future of Westchester and its residents. He understands the needs of our community and is dedicated to ensuring that the Village operates efficiently, transparently, and with the best interests of all residents in mind.

As a retired IBEW Local 134 electrician and a former full-time electrical inspector in Oak Park, Kevin brings practical knowledge and experience to the table. He’s managed large-scale projects, always meeting deadlines and staying on budget—skills that are vital for making smart decisions for Westchester’s future.

Beyond his professional background, Kevin is a devoted husband and father of 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren. Kevin is an active volunteer, particularly with our aging population, demonstrating his strong sense of community and service. Kevin’s regular attendance at Board meetings and his consistent interaction with residents show his commitment to listening to and addressing the concerns of the community.
