Gia Marie Benline


Gia Marie Benline, your candidate for Westchester’s Village President, is a Fenwick High School alum and Robert Morris University graduate. Gia earned a BA Degree in Legal Studies and is currently a Licensed Illinois Realtor and a Paralegal with over 18 years of experience in real estate, contract law, wills & estates, personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. Gia is a proud Westchester resident of 10 years and embraces the community that has helped her, and her husband raise their two sons. While family is of the utmost importance to Gia, the Westchester community is an extension of her family where she currently serves as a Trustee on the Village Board. As a Trustee, Gia has served the residents of Westchester with integrity as supported by her transparent communications, fiscal diligence and community engagement, which she believes are crucial elements of a highly functional and responsible government. Gia is a proud wife of an Army Veteran and IBEW Local 134 Electrician and was raised by a Union Carpenter and continues to use these influences to be an avid supporter of Labor and devotes her time as an Honor Flight volunteer. Gia continues her mission outside of her professional life by happily volunteering and providing community service and support to her neighbors and friends at the Westchester Food Pantry, and Westchester Baseball. Equally as important, Gia also devotes her time as a Member of the Westchester Chamber of Commerce where she passionately supports the small business owner, young entrepreneurship and economic development which comprise the fundamental elements to bring more business opportunities to Westchester. Committed to her vision for greater economic prosperity, Gia also serves on the Board of Directors for the Berwyn Development Corporation, where her knowledge and experience are integral to creating business development initiatives, identifying and organizing business structures, leveraging intra-governmental & developer relationships and collaborating with businesses to enhance their marketing and branding strategies. Gia’s enthusiastic drive, determination and collaborative mind set is only underscored by the passion that she has for the good people of Westchester, most especially our Seniors. She believes that our Seniors are the foundation of the Westchester community and has expanded her vision as Village President to elevate Senior Services by revitalizing support services to enhance the well-being of Westchester’s aging population.
As Village President, Gia is committed to be the face of the Village and an advocate for Westchester’s citizenry by delivering respectful and effective communication along with honest and inclusive insight. Accessibility is paramount and is the marker for Gia’s guiding principle to lead by example and provide a home where your voices are heard, and action is taken.
